Corrugated galvanized iron or steel (colloquially corrugated iron (near universal), wriggly tin

The corrugations increase the bending strength of the sheet in the direction perpendicular to the corrugations, but not parallel to them. Normally each sheet is manufactured longer in its strong direction.
